Hello, I’m Melanie — a writer, photographer and interdisciplinary artist exploring slowness, nature connection and embodied experience.

My current research-led practice brings together photography, somatic movement and dance to explore the relationship between body, place and belonging.

With a background of more than twenty years in the wellbeing sector, I am the author of Seeking Slow, founder of the slow-living platform Geoffrey and Grace, and have facilitated yoga and creative wellbeing workshops in both community and retreat settings.

I am interested in collaborations, residencies and projects exploring embodiment, nature connection and creative wellbeing.
