SLOW LIVING IN OUR DIGITAL AGE: FREE GUIDE

Slow living in our digital age: Free guide

Just a quick one from me today to let you know that I have put together a free guide to Slow Living in our Digital Age to help you be more mindful with your time online and on your handheld devices.

Our phones are brilliant at keeping us connected but we need to find a healthy and happy balance and make sure we are intentional with how we use them so that the time we do spend online is productive and positive.

Where technology is concerned we all know that unplugging for a bit it good for our wellbeing but many of us find it really difficult to do. We have our phones ‘on’ us most of the time and lots of us work at a computer for the majority of the day so taking a break from the online world becomes a bit of a challenge. However to properly connect to what is happening around us we must first disconnect from our computers and social networks, at least for some of the time. Plus it’s fundamental to be able to sit in moments of silence with ourselves, and many of us have turned to reaching for our phones as a distraction.

This short guide highlights some important things to be aware of when it comes to your behaviour and notifications and also has a handful of simple tips and actionable ideas for you to try straight away that will encourage you to be more mindful with your time online.

If you feel a little lost when your phone is not within easy grasp – then it’s time to make some changes.
