If you are a regular reader of The Simple Things Magazine you might have spotted someone familiar in the August edition smiling back at you.
I was asked to take part in the ‘My day in cups of tea’ feature, and share what a normal day looks like for me by describing my day in cuppas. I have always been a lover of a pot of tea. A teapot on the kitchen table, adorend with a chunky hand-knit tea-cosy is a sight to warm my heart, so it was a joy to take part.
You can look at a free sampler of the magazine here, including a snippet of the ‘My day in cups of tea’ piece.
If you haven’t come across the magazine before, it really is a lovely read. Celebrating the simple pleasures in life, the August edition has a great article on ‘Why the sea makes us feel better’, and a lovely piece on ‘Edible flowers’.
I’m still very much enjoying my summer of slow living and hope to pop in here at least once a week, until all things return to ‘normal’ in September.
I do hope your summers are being delightfully slow too.
