December can whizz by in a festive frenzy if we’re not careful. That’s why there are some slow Winter rituals that I like to do each year, that help me stay calm. Seasonal things, that I can do mindfully and with intention. Tasks that help me take a breath and slow down.
Just like that, October is gone and November is here with its wintery winds. Soon the trees will be completely bare and all the colour of Autumn will be gone.
It was this time last year that I sat and wrote the very first Monthly Voice. I can’t believe that twelve months have passed, and here I am again thinking about what filled our days during October.

There are over 3,000 photos in the #slowliving_create gallery this month, thank you to all that joined in. We decided to re-visit the word ‘create’, as prioritising time to be creative is so fundamental to our well being. As always we have loved looking through the gallery and seeing how you make space for creativity in your days.

It’s been almost a week and half since the Margot ladies had a day trip to London for the Mollie Makes Handmade Awards. If you missed the exciting news, Margot was a finalist in the collaboration category alongside two other collaborative projects.
We knew a good day would be had by all, whether we were to win or not. Team Mollie Makes had organised a jam-packed day of mentoring and activities for us to do. Plus it would give us an opportunity to chat everything making and creative with some fellow crafty folk.
