So happy to be introducing you to Winter Water Factory today. They are a Brooklyn-based company who design and produce screen printed textiles and organic children’s clothing. Designer Stefanie Lynen clearly has an eye for fun graphic prints, and draws her inspiration from vintage wallpaper and children’s books. Winter Water Factory only work with 100% certified organic cotton, and their range is designed, screen printed, and made in the USA.
I can’t believe it is nearly the end of November, it seems to have flown by. Only one post for me this week, as we have been a little distracted in this house by someone’s soon-to-be birthday. My husbands 40th is just around the corner, and this weekend we are having a party to celebrate. There will be friends, food and movies, and we are very much looking forward to having a house full.
Here is the second ever monthly voice, with a little round up of our month, and what has been inspiring me throughout November.
Made from a thrifted vintage pillowcase, it is a one off, as I now only have the cutting scraps left. I just love the beautiful open flower print, and the soft pink / brown tones of the fabric.
It’s great to be able to finally finish a few pieces off. I get such enjoyment from having a play like this, and taking some photos of what I have made. For me this is just as much fun as the making itself.
