April means two things to me. As the Easter holidays fall during April, it always reminds me of spending extra time with family. It’s also the time the magnolia trees blossom. Here on the South Coast of England there are about 3-4 glorious weeks, when I get to witness the magnolia buds appearing, opening and then the petals gently falling from the trees. It’s one of my favourite things of the year, as suddenly the trees burst into life and colour.
I am celebrating reaching over 20 thousand followers on Instagram this week. That fact alone blows my mind, but I am also super-thankful for all who follow along and enjoy seeing my pictures.
I simply love Instagram. I love that it gives me creative opportunities everyday to take photos of things that I think are inspiring and make the world more beautiful, and I also love how it makes me feel linked to people all around the world.
Things will be a bit quiet on the blog front for the next 10 days as I am taking a break, having a little holiday, and am going to be ‘offline’ for a large chunk of those 10 days.
