There are over 3,000 photos in the #slowliving_create gallery this month, thank you to all that joined in. We decided to re-visit the word ‘create’, as prioritising time to be creative is so fundamental to our well being. As always we have loved looking through the gallery and seeing how you make space for creativity in your days.
Here are my favourite slow living create moments captured for March…
After our nature walk last weekend, I felt inspired to make a nature crown using the berries that we had gathered. Last Monday morning when I should have been answering emails, and organising my week ahead, or washing up and sorting the house out a bit, I decided to take some time to be creative and ignore all of those other tasks that needed doing.
Here is what I made…

Slow living moments captured – create
For September the focus of our slow living project over on Instagram, has been on moments where we ‘create’. I have been so inspired by how creative people have been, and thoroughly enjoyed seeing little snippets of everyone’s creativity. It’s been really interesting to notice the different interpretation of the word, and how people go about finding creative moments in their everyday.
Today I am sharing a small selection of images from the grid, as there were several things that struck me about slow living and creativity, and I wanted to touch on a few of them.
