Monthly Voice October on Geoffrey & Grace

Just like that, October is gone and November is here with its wintery winds. Soon the trees will be completely bare and all the colour of Autumn will be gone.

It was this time last year that I sat and wrote the very first Monthly Voice. I can’t believe that twelve months have passed, and here I am again thinking about what filled our days during October.

Monthly Voice - November on Geoffrey & Grace

I can’t believe it is nearly the end of November, it seems to have flown by. Only one post for me this week, as we have been a little distracted in this house by someone’s soon-to-be birthday. Katy from Apartment Apothecary (who you may remember from the blog hop), along with Charlotte, another clever blogger and maker, from Lotts and Lots blog, came up with a lovely simple idea. Our homes can often look the same for most of the year, apart from a few christmas decorations in December. It’s nice to mark the passing of the months, the changes we see in nature, and then reflect this in our home.

With all the ‘hoo ha’ of the move, the house had got a little neglected. So this was a lovely way for me to give it a little spruce and style to one area.
