Wow! What a great month for the slow living project. Since it was February, we decided to focus on ‘love’. A little four lettered word that holds so much meaning, and can impact your life in the most profound and magical way.

Folks have been sharing their ‘slow living love’ moments throughout the whole of the month, and the gallery is full of beautiful and inspirational photographs that encapsulate ‘love’ in all its forms. Do pop over to the gallery to have a look at all the photos that have been shared with #slowliving_love.

Here are my favourites…

Love – for our little ones, they help us feel its presence every day.

Thank you again for being part of this community. I really enjoy looking back through the moments that are shared, and I am always inspired by the wonderful photography and the thoughtful captions. I think what I love most though, is how generous you all are with allowing others a little glimpse in to your worlds – thank you.

Don’t forget to hop over to Hippie in Disguise to look at Danielle’s selection. Plus you might like to follow the ‘slow living moments’ Pinterest board too.

On to the focus for March; we thought it would be great to re-visit a theme that we used back at the beginning of the project. The word for this month is ‘create’. We want you to share your moments of wholehearted creation with the hashtag #slowliving_create.

Our days can get easily filled with jobs, chores and errands. It’s important to remember how being creative brings a sense of connection and calm into your day. We hope you will slow down and make some time to be creative. Even finding just a little pocket of time to create, in amongst your otherwise busy day, will do wonders for your well-being and encourage you to be present and mindful throughout the rest of the day.

If you are new to the project, you can read more about where the idea came from here. Anyone can join in on Instagram. All you have to do is tag one (or as many of your photos as you like) with #slowliving_create, and also tag Danielle @hippieindisguise, and myself @geoffreyandgrace. We are now using #slowliving_ to try to connect all the brilliant photographs shared throughout the whole project, so feel free to go ahead and use that too.

Here’s to a wonderfully creative month.
